Confidence X Mental Health Monday
There are a lot of habits that destroy your confidence like caring too much about what other people think, this is the number one confidence killer comparing your confidence level with someone else's. And when you place other peoples opinions above your own and change your behaviour to please others you're actually doing more harm than good, this is a coping mechanism from struggling with mental health and was designed to protect you but that doesn't mean it's helpful for your confidence giving away all your power to everyone else. Try to re-frame negative thoughts challenge them to reinforce a more positive mindset. When you be grateful it instantly puts you into a more positive mindset and can help with your confidence building. Stop playing the blame game take ownership of your situation and work to progress with your confidence. So how do you build real confidence? Well you start by being organised, setting daily achievable goals and ticking them off, stick to your word if you said you'll do something get it done. With each task ticked off or word you kept you'll start to build real confidence. Also growing your roots, having a strong community/relationships will improve your confidence, if they're not making you feel good about yourself it's time to let go and find your new people.
Are you working on your confidence yet?
Till next time,
Stevie x
