Best Edits X Art Journey

In 2020 as I've previously mentioned I did some edits of the scanned illustrations from 2019, I played around with posterization, inverting colours and different colour combinations in a free photo editing software. I'm not massively skilled at digital design, these are basic alterations but they turned out really cool! I found it super inspiring and interesting to see how I could have done the piece differently if I was feeling a different set of emotions.

I hope to one day use all these edits as inspiration for final pieces, obviously i won't be able to make them the exact same due to products not being the same etc. but i could make something similar.

Crawford&Black - 36 Colouring Pencils X Review

  I needed some new colouring pencils and The Works had a sale on so I managed to get some Crawford&Black colouring pencils for £3 which I didn't think was bad for 36 colours and a sharpener. I've only tried their sketchbooks which I really like the quality of, for the price they're amazing and was interested to try their other products.   I did a swatch for you below, the colours are in the order that they are in the packaging; not in rainbow colour order but an order of cools and warms which I quite liked as it's different. Not all brands have a good cool to warm ratio and I think the colour selection is great. Habits To Combat Anxiety, Depression and Low Self-Esteem X Mental Health Monday

Happiness isn't a permanent state remember life's like a heart beat it goes up and down and without the downs can't appreciate the ups, so being all sunshine and rainbows is actually toxic positivity which is super unhealthy and unhelpful for combating anxiety/depression but you can strive for feeling content and fulfilled with your life; which in turn provides real happiness, healthy positivity and improves your self- esteem. Happy 2023!!!

Happy 2023 ma dude!!! I hope this year has been kind to you so far :)  Had the best Christmas and new year ever had and reflecting on 2022 my only goal was to make it through the year which I not only did but fucking smashed it, I've come SO far with my mental health it's ridiculous i'm really proud of the person that i'm becoming I didn't expect to make it this far; some personal highlights of 2022 was donating 100 fairy pieces to a local charity and being verified on Pinterest.  Sorry for the lack of content on the blog I've been a really busy bee, still been posting on Pinterest everyday however and have lots of new content on here coming soon!  SO what does 2023 hold in store well, i'm about to be volunteering for charity and teaching how to make the fairy pieces at their arts and crafts club which i'm super excited about, among some other things on the horizon but basically we're doing bits out here n 2023 is looking and feeling fucking goooood....
